If you have had Covid in the last 90 days you don’t need to test. Any longer than that then we still require you to evidence a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hrs before the festival.

To enter you must be 18 or over. It is absolutely crucial that you bring your ID and ticket with you. No ID, No entry. Please print or download your ticket onto your phone.

Detonate Festival is held at the beautiful Colwick County Park in Colwick, Nottingham, NG2 4BE

Yes, the 44 runs from Kings Street in Nottingham City Centre to Nottingham Racecourse which is directly adjacent to the site.  

There will be no parking at the site, please park elsewhere and use public transport if you are driving down.  Buses which go close to the festival site are: No. 44 and 44A - Nottingham City Transport Taxis - there will be a taxi drop off point close to Nottingham Racecourse in the Park and Ride car park Park and Ride - this service will NOT be operating on Saturday 5th June There is a walk from the drop off to the festival entrance which will take approx 10mins  The postcode for the drop off area is: NG2 4BE  

There will be buses running back into the city centre from the Park and Ride site, close to Nottingham Racecourse.  These are provided by Nottingham City Transport and cost standard fare, or you can use your usual travel card. They will continue running until everyone has left. Please be patient if you are waiting for a bus.  Taxis - these will also be waiting in the Park and Ride site. Don't try and flag one down on the roadside.   

The event starts at 11am and finishes at 11pm on Saturday 25th September 2021. Please arrive early to avoid queues.
You can not smoke inside the tented stages or bars. You will be asked to finish your cigarette outside the tented stages or bars before entry.

Don’t leave the site unless you are leaving for good. There is no re-admittance as part of our licence, so if you leave you can't come back in!

Big bags and rucksacks cannot be taken to the festival. however, small handbags and manbags are allowed. (approx the size of an A4 piece of paper).
For the safety of our customers and our staff, everyone will be searched prior to entry. Anyone found with illicit items will have them confiscated and may be removed from the festival or handed over to the police.
Everyone will be searched prior to being admitted to the festival.  Please be aware searching takes some  time  so please consider arriving as early as possible. Peak time tends to be from 1.30pm -4pm.  You cannot bring in :

Most of our stages are open air and we do not envisage any congestion problems. All tents have a capacity that we cannot exceed. Once reached we aren't able to let people into the tents. Please arrive with plenty of time if there is an act you desperately want to see. If the arena is capacity please find an alternative place to enjoy.
Please use the bins and the toilets provided. Colwick County park is a beautiful location for a music festival. Please, lets keep it that way. We ask all our festival goers to minimize waste.
Please speak to our Customer Service Desk to see if your item has been handed in. If you do notice any anti social or dangerous behaviour please report it to security. Head to our website after the event where you can fill in a lost property form so we can get in touch if we find your lost item.
Lost property will be located close to the festival entrance next to the main top up area.
We have upgraded our toilets this year, and they will be cleaned and restocked throughout the day. Festival toilets can be an ordeal so please leave them as you would like to find them.

Food and Drink vouchers will be availiable to buy soon. Buy your voucher in advance. Get your wristband credited when you arrive. Go straight to the bar and get your drinks in.  

Yes! We have a wide range of foods provided by our global food vendors, including vegetarian options.
You can refund what you don't spend on our website after the festival is complete. Please note, there is an £1.20+VAT charge for refunds.
Soft drinks are available at £2. Alcoholic drinks start from £3. Beers will cost between £4 and £5 including deals.
No, as a condition of our license no food or drink can be brought onto the festival site.
No, as a condition of our license no bottles of any kind can be brought onto the festival site. There is a free water point on site, and lots of reasonably priced bars and food stalls.
